The Hopkins Pavilion is an arena used year-round for a multitude of activities including ice skating, broomball, soccer, lacrosse, inline skating, rugby, baseball, softball, concerts, company picnics and other community and private events.
The arena changes year-round from an indoor skating rink (September-February) to indoor turf (March-May) to dry floor (June-August).
In 1990 the City of Hopkins used money from the 1989 park bond referendum to build the Pavilion, accommodating the growing necessities of the community and the park and recreation program.
